Overview:
We are looking for employees who will be "road warriors" promoting Honest Beverages in retail stores and at consumer events as well as being apart of our in-store merchandising sales team. Road Warriors will seek out guerrilla marketing/sampling opportunities wherever thirsty people can be found.
Event types include (but are not limited to): Consumer (outdoor concerts, film festivals, marathons, road races, and parades), Retail (college block parties, grand openings), In-Store Demos (sampling at Whole Foods, Fairway, etc.) and Guerilla (sampling on the street in key areas of major cities)
Marketing Responsibilities Include:
Driving to all location sites within specific region
Setting up and breaking down all equipment required for each event
Promoting the Honest Tea brand at each event
In-Store Merchandising includes (but is not limited to): hanging POS materials in retail accounts, resetting cooler shelves, placing glide racks and refurbishing coolers.

Sales Responsibilities:
Within the assigned market, execute merchandising, sampling, store resets, placing glides and POS
Open new accounts
Participate in route rides, crew drives, and kick-offs within assigned territory and in other territories (travel as required)
Placement of coolers, hard point of sale and soft point of sale in accounts
Perform merchandising functions
Overall Requirements:
Ability to work long hours including nights and weekends and overnight travel.
Must be able to work a 5 day work week including weekends for the entire summer (10-12 weeks).
Must be an Undergraduate student.
Ability to lift 30 pounds at a time.
Good driving record and daily access to a vehicle.

Overview:
Exclusively through Net Impact, Honest Tea offers a 10-12 week summer internship for a hard-working, enthusiastic, and creative MBA student interested in gaining hands-on experience in a mission-driven, consumer products company. The intern will be immersed in Honest Tea’s fast-paced, ever-changing environment with new and exciting challenges thrown their way each day. Interns will be exposed to all sides of the business from sales to operations. Ideal candidates for this position are open-minded and adapt well to dynamic environments.
Past summer projects have included creating an Honest Food bar alongside Honest Tea’s Operations, Marketing and Graphics department, and working with Sales to bring the bar to market. Other MBA intern projects have included publishing the company’s annual Mission Report as well as detailing Honest Tea’s sustainability efforts and challenges.
Summer Internship Responsibilities Include:
Coordinate and participate in guerilla-style marketing, promotions and sales
Assist with new product development
Develop marketing materials
Coordinate corporate partnerships
Develop new sales relationships
Create retailer/distributor incentives and promotional programs
Research material sourcing and become involved with the manufacturing process
The intern should be open to being “on the road” and traveling in order to work with distributors and/or on consumer promotions for a portion of the internship. Overview:
The Brand Manager is responsible for creating, managing and leading the successful execution of brand-building and volume-driving programs, including marketing campaigns, program development, materials creation, new product launches, and initiatives that support Honest Tea’s product lines (both PET and Glass formats). The ideal candidate works hard, has great project management skills, is a self-starter, and is looking to be a part of an exciting, fast-paced, innovative company that’s making a difference.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Develop breakthrough marketing plans and programs for Honest Tea’s flagship Tea and Ade product lines:
Analysis, planning, and strategy development across all retail channels. Includes competitive analysis, positioning, packaging, new products, pricing, promotions, pricing. and communications.
Integrated, on-brand ideas and lead program development. Includes partner outreach and management.
Develop motivating and instructive Operating Plans, sell sheets and positioning documents for major programs and brand initiatives to be used by Honest Tea’s field team (either to use as is or adapt as needed for bottler/distributor or customer sell-in.)
Close collaboration with Sr. Promotions Manager and Creative team on all stages of program development and execution
Post-program evaluation and recommend improvements for future initiatives
Establish and maintain a keen understanding of the Honest consumer (demographics and psychographics; attitudes, usage, motivations and needs in order to improve trial and loyalty)
Close collaboration with fellow CCNA brand marketing teams, the VEB team and/or CCR channel teams, when appropriate. (e.g, strategy).
Understand and manage volume and profit targets for product lines, both nationally and regionally
Provide solutions and suggest creative alternatives that support brand strategy when targets are off plan
Support company mission around health & wellness, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility.
Manage all project timelines including managing expectation of others internally and key external partners.
Monitor marketing budget for Tea and Ade product lines

Area Marketing Manager

The Area Marketing Manager will be responsible for building brand loyalty in assigned territory by executing marketing programs that connect consumers with the brand. This position is responsible for successful identification and execution of promotional events, guerilla sampling and retail demos. Full product knowledge and understanding of product benefits is required.

DSD - Regional Sales Manager

Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for building the Honest Tea brand through management, sales, merchandising, sampling, and retail support. The Regional Sales Manager must assign, train, motivate, manage, and evaluate the business activities of Honest Tea subordinates and distributors within assigned territory to deliver maximum sales, executional results, and customer satisfaction for the company’s product lines. She/he will develop sales objectives, prepare and execute product programs, and analyze and evaluate the status of the company’s products as well as the competitive environment on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Develop and manage the progress of assigned distributor organizations’ (and field personnel, when appropriate) performance in the selling and merchandising of the company’s product lines either directly or through the area sales managers within the region
Monitor ongoing business trends to effectively forecast sales volumes for each distributor market on a monthly basis
Develop and present creative and results oriented presentations to distributors and/or key accounts
Maintain customer contact in conjunction with distributors to expedite resolution of customer problems/complaints and to improve overall customer relations, sales volume, and profile in the marketplace

Maintain discounts percentages (17% and under) and budget for the division while achieving case sales goals
Review and evaluate distributor performance in achieving sales and merchandising objectives through specific objectives for distributors that are clearly articulated, mutually agreed upon and effectively measured
Actively participate in the development and implementation of sales programs, schematics, and all other such brand development projects that relate to field execution
Conduct market audits in all classes of trade to assess the company’s products’ position in the marketplace; monitor competitive activity and developments
Maintain a high level of interaction with key trade customers to ensure customer satisfaction, educate on product line and category developments and trends, as well as maintain a full understanding of key customers’ organizations
Maintain thorough and current understanding of existing and projected product lines, category trends of key trade customers, of competitors and the marketplace in general
Successfully work with all other divisions within Honest Tea including Natural/Specialty Food, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Human Resources
Requirements:
Must have prior non-alcoholic beverage experience and be a proven team leader.
5 to 7 years experience in sales and management, preferably in the beverage and/or consumer products industry
Ability to organize and lead management teams successfully
Ability to travel as well as work long, flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required
